Mickie Finnz Fish House & Bar lives on Fremont Street downtown, not out at Mandalay Bay where a lot of listings wrongly put it. That matters, because this is a Fremont bar through and through: open from late morning until 2am, loud when the street is loud, and built for people working their way down the strip of bars on foot.

The deal everyone comes for runs all day, every day. Pick 2 for $5, mix and match well liquor and draft beer, so you can grab one to sip and one to chase for the cost of a single drink most other places. Want a step up from the well, it's a small bump to go to call pours like Jack Daniel's, Fireball, Stoli, or Rumplemintz. PBR is cheap, the Primo well pickle backs are a downtown ritual, and house wine stays easy on the tab.

The time-bounded happy hour runs Monday through Friday, 4 to 7pm, with discounted drinks and bar apps if you want the food side too. The room is part fish house, part dive, and it leans into the Fremont energy rather than fighting it. Stick to the wells, drafts, and PBR and you can drink here a while for very little.
