Harvest & Vine Happy Hour. Off-Strip

Harvest & Vine works best for the person who wants a real meal and a good glass of wine without driving to the Strip for it. Post-work wind-down, a low-key date, or a small group catching up all fit here. This is an off-Strip wine bar, so the parking is normal and the noise level lets you actually talk.

The happy hour runs daily, but the window is short and specific: 4:30 to 5:30pm. Show up right at the start, because an hour goes fast. The cocktail list during that hour covers a Harvest Mule, an Old Fashioned, a Boulevardier, a Lychee Martini, a Harvest Spritz, and a Blood Orange Margarita. The spritz and the margarita are the easygoing picks if you want something bright before dinner.

For food, the move is to order a few plates and split them. Shishito Peppers and the Salt & Pepper Fried Shrimp handle the casual snacking, while the Bone Marrow and Hanger Steak Crostini lean richer. The Artisanal Cheese Board and Seasonal Flatbread bridge the gap if you want something to graze on across the table. Two or three of these plus a cocktail each makes a light dinner.

The wine staff knows the list, so ask what pairs with whatever you ordered. It's a comfortable, grown-up room that rewards arriving early and lingering.
